The Gift of Giving this Christmas at TR

If you’ve visited TR lately you will have seen our lovely Christmas display, this year complete with a Giving Tree – in a bid to help brighten the festive season for youngsters from across the North-east.

We know how much the Archie Foundation has touched a number of families in the area, like the Hill family who have received invaluable care and support for their daughter Georgia, and decided we wanted to do our bit to help the charity.

This festive season the charity is making a meaningful difference to help bring smiles and hope to children in need by raising funds to provide vital services, gifts, and festive cheer through a number of initiatives like the Giving Tree.

The TR Xmas tree is covered in tags from Archie with information about different gifts for different age groups, and if you want to offer support all you need to do is pick a tag, buy and wrap the present, and hand it back into us.

Since its arrival at the start of November, tags have been going fast but there’s still time to help.

We will be delivering the gifts to the Archie Foundation, based in the Children’s Hospital at ARI in time for Christmas day, so would like all presents to be gifted by the 21st December.
