School holidays kicked off in style at TR
It’s fair to say that rainy weather and school holidays come hand in hand in the North-east but here at TR, we try our best not to let the weather dampen your spirits!
We were pleased to reopen the TR Ice Cream Parlour at the start of the Easter holidays after its closure over the winter months. And customers have been coming in thick and fast to get their favourite flavours – and try out others in our tasty selection complete with gluten free options too. Our new sweetie selection has also gone down a treat with everyone – there’s some old school classics like Kola Cubes and Sherbet Lemons, along with Love Hearts and Cola Bottles.
And we were even more excited to unveil the TR Burger Shack! We had worked on the project for a number of weeks, planning and building the area. Keeping it under wraps was quite hard at times but we managed to keep it a secret until we announced its opening.
Our launch night in early April was a huge hit, so much so that we decided to open the following weekend. Customers loved the second burger night too, and we received so much positive feedback we will be opening again on Saturday, April 27th.
There’s lots of your favourite toppings to choose from and we are running a special deal for children including a hot dog or burger; drink and ice cream, all for just £5.
We have indoor and outdoor seating, all accessible for wheelchairs or buggies. And you’re welcome to bring your four-legged friends too – we are proud to be a dog friendly space, and there’s treats on offer for pooches too!
