Happy New Year from all at TR 

As we prepare to say goodbye to 2023 and welcome the New Year, we want to thank customers for their continued support over the year; and our staff who play an important part of the TR journey, through their hard work. 

And what a second year in business it has been with lots of great things happening! We transformed an empty area of the shop and turned it into the TR ice cream parlour. The response we have had since it opened has been fantastic with people flocking to us to sample the sweet treats on offer. The parlour will open again when the light nights return! 

We have continued to welcome new businesses into TR throughout 2023 to sell their goods and we have been proud to continue to show our support towards the shop local ethos. 

And we’ve hosted a lot of different pop-up events, including the Santa Paws photography sessions in December – with great feedback from the local community.

Our popular Beastie Boys added a new recruit going from two to three, and we transformed their living accommodation to house the trio. 

Most importantly, our hard work and dedication to provide a first-class service for our customers was recognised by the Scottish Tourism Board and we were awarded a three-star accolade, with Visit Scotland listing TR as a new tourist destination in Scotland. 

So as 2023 comes to an end we’re excited for the future of TR in 2024 with lots of great ideas already in place – watch this space!
