A heartfelt thank you From TR

When we launched the Giving Tree here at TR in November, we had no idea just how generous the Alford community would be. 

The Archie Foundation work tirelessly to help children across the North-east and all gifts donated to Giving Trees are given to youngsters staying in hospital over the festive season. 

There are a number of families in the area touched by the charity – either directly, or through a relative or friends – and it certainly showed when we gathered the presents ready for delivery. 

Gifts tags detailed presents and age groups, and people bought the relevant idea. In the end we had five sacks full to the brim with presents of all shapes and sizes. 

We delivered them directly to the Archie Foundation team who are based in the Aberdeen Children’s hospital.  

We loved the Wonka themed Christmas tree in the hospital and thank the girls from Archie for taking time out of the busy schedules to have their photo taken with gifts from TR. 

And thank you to each and every one of you who bought presents to help brighten Christmas for youngsters in the hospital.
